Welcome to the blog of the architecture students of Eduardo Mundlane university of Maputo, Boukunde University of Pretoria and the architecture faculty of the TU-Delft in The Netherlands.
This blog is a joint venture organized around the graduation project to Revitalize the Baixa de Maputo.
The Baixa is the oldest part of Maputo and is under current threat of new insensitive development. The old buildings are diminishing and the area is losing its historic identity.
The combination of the three universities is a unique way to create a dialogue between different countries and their ways of working.
The driving force behind the realisation of this studio has been and still is the organization "African Architecture Matters". See the link in the menu below.

Model, model holding model

I dont want to post a picture of a model holding our model, cause she would have to be large and rather muscular (and Im sure that none of you guys really want to see that!)
